Jill Turnbull is a working stylist, international educator, and entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience in the beauty industry ... from haircutting, coloring, to make-up, styling for fashion shoots and advertising campaigns all over the world.

A native of Great Britain, Turnbull has trained stylists and conducted seminars on the business of hairdressing, cutting, color and make-up in Australia, where she was raised, Europe and the United States.

Her direct, meticulous and thoroughly modern approach has earned her top honors. In addition to her renowned talents as an educator and motivator, Turnbull has honed her understanding of the business of beauty as a salon owner.

She opened the first Etches Salon in Brisbane, Australia in 1985 and operated successfully until 1993, when she married an American and moved to the eastern United States. Soon afterward, she opened the second Etches, in Baltimore, MD.
